Pin-Pendants are crafted from sterling silver, 14k, 18k or 22k gold, bronze and 24k gold Keum-boo. Keum-boo is the process of fusing thin sheets of 24k gold to silver. Sterling silver, 24k gold Keum-boo, amethyst and pearl. This turtle figure was created with the help of a small rubber turtle. The turtle’s shell was molded so that it could be cast in sterling to create the center part of the figure. 24k gold is fused to the surfaces. A chain with handmade hooks attaches to the loops behind the figure’s head so that the piece can be worn as both a pin or pendant. This piece measures 3 1/4” tall x 1/14” wide x 3/8” deep. $490.
